Golf
Perhaps Malone, NY’s biggest claim to fame is the world- class Robert Trent Jones courses found at the Malone Gulf Club which is managed by the Vice President of the PGA, Derek Sprague. For over 20 years, our guests have been raving about their golfing experiences here.
We think that Kilburn Manor’s appeal with golfers has a lot to do with its country/village setting. There’s a lot to be said (no pun intended) about exchanging your best stories of the day around the pool or on the Veranda with a cool drink overlooking 3 acres of serenity. Having the choice of sleeping with the Northern Adirondack air or AC is also definite plus. Many of our golfers, particularly our men’s groups, like to barbeque at home and spend an evening right here.
Fishing
“This area has an embarrassment of natural resources, forested mountains, crystalline lakes, clean air and TROUT-FIILED STREAMS.” So said The International Herald Tribune. Guides who live near the Ausable River, have, for years, been bringing their clients to Kilburn Manor to stay and fish in our local Chateauguay and Salmon Rivers, streams they called the ” best kept secret in North America.” We invite you to come, fish and experience all this for yourself.
